Their Glory

We hide our pain behind half-hearted smiles,
The trust we dream of dying beside a road long been traveled.

Embers of hope barely kept alive through the miles,
The distant dream of Faith becoming unraveled.

So tired of all the sights repeating over and over,
The memory of joy still clung to by the faithful.

Rejoice an end is nigh, no need to seek further cover,
Life and love in their glory, all light and blissful.
