Being Free

Wanted to get something posted before I left for the day, in case I do not find the time later.  I started this the other day when I was on my rhyming kick, finished and rewrote today.  Enjoy!

Sometimes all you can do is drive.

Being Free

Beauty though it be,

Life is far from being free.

The calm river, the stormy sea.

The song note, the brush stroke.

The coal ash, the fire smoke.

The broken heart, Life’s little joke.

Beauty though it be,

Life is far from being free.

the calm river, the stormy sea,

    loved the lines.
    way to go!
