Music of Nature

Since I have already posted my new original piece for the day, I decided to throw up an older one.  I happened to stumble upon it while I was going through some old notebooks from school.  Yes, people this is what I do to prevent myself from falling asleep listening to a professor drone on and on in a monotonous tone.  Blast! The rhyming has commenced once more!

The loon calling from afar

The sound soft as a lullaby

The splash of water

A fish’s shinning scales spotted

A full moon’s light shining upon the water

Wavelets gently lapping against a rocky shore

Breezes sighing through the trees

The music plays on
